Concept |
| When sending and receiving information by connecting LAN, router is used to read the address of receiver contained in transmission information and transmit the information to another communication network by using the most appropriate path of communication. This is the device of network layer, which is the 3rd of the 7 layers of OSI(Open System Interconnection). As a device essentially required in Internet connection, router serves the role of path setup in order to transmit information from communication network operated with different protocols. For path setup, routing protocol is used. Also, routing table is created in order to control routing algorithm. |

Configuration Plans |
| Router |
- Network linkage is established by using dynamic routing protocols of rip, ospf, eigrp and bgp, etc. Or, routing is configured by using static routing protocols. |
 |
| Duplexing |
- Device duplexing or link duplexing configuration is established in preparation for ISP failure or router failure. - In case of configuration using dynamic routing protocols, the shortest path is found by routing protocols. In case of configuration using static routing protocols, matric values must be adjusted so that to enable communication through bypass in case of fault. |
