- This system is used to isolate specific network in order to be in charge of security between networks.
- This system serves the function to prevent illegal information outflow from the inside and illegal invasion from
the outside.
- Range of security is narrowed by unifying network entrances. Also, by accurately checking data flown into internal
network, only the authorized data are passed through.
- Serving only the role to block off attack from the outside, firewall function is not used for hacking carried out from
the inside.
- With reverse-tracking function, traces of network access from the outside can be identified and reversely traced. |

- IPS(Intrusion Prevention System) blocks off what warm virus and vulnerability attack, etc., which cannot be handled by firewall and must be
controlled on application basis.
- IPS(Intrusion Prevention System) checks and blocks off all packets in the middle of network. Therefore, it is connected to the center of router to
the outside and switch to the inside. |
